HDPE
HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) Product Guide
Applications | Mechanical and Chemical Data
Overview
HDPE is a thermoplastic polymer made from petroleum. HDPE is compliant to FDA, USDA, and NSF requirements as well as being one of the versatile plastic materials around. It is known for its excellent tensile strength, large strength-to-density ratio, high impact-resistance, and melting point. HDPE is used in a wide variety of applications, including shampoo bottles, chemical containers, pipe systems, milk jugs, grocery bags, recycling bins, and flower pots.
