Bronze Applications
Bronze, a copper and tin alloy with a distinctive reddish-brown color, is prized for its strength, durability, and corrosion resistance, making it essential for applications ranging from art and marine equipment to electrical contacts and architectural elements.
We carry a wide variety of Bronze alloys, including Phosphor Bronze (544), Silicon Bronze (655), Bearing Bronze (932), & Aluminum Bronze (954).

FAQ
FAQs - Bronze
When shopping for bronze material, you may notice variations in price. The biggest factor in the differences in the price of bronze is the amount of copper in the alloy. Online Metals offers a wide range of bronze alloys and several shapes to make it easy for you to find the right bronze material for your project..

The “as cast” finish on all continuous cast bronze bars refers to extra material added to make the bar oversized. This extra material allows the user to machine down the stroke marks and surface imperfections caused during the casting process. All bronze alloys of this bar stock will finish to the listed dimensions.
There are several bronze alloys created specifically for casting. We focus on bronze alloys that are designed for strength or machining requirements used in manufacturing processes. We do stock aluminum bronze, which may be used for casting, but it is a stronger alloy normally not required when using for art castings.
