Overview
Acrylic, also known as Plexiglass, is a transparent thermoplastic with outstanding strength and stiffness that exhibits glass-like qualities. It is not affected by direct sunlight which allows acrylic to age well and maintain its stability under many environmental circumstances, including heat, cold, and moisture. Furthermore, Acrylic offers shatter resistance, ease of machining, weather resistance, a lighter alternative to glass, optical clarity, and UV resistance. Its typically used for skylights, display boxes, architectural glazing, light lenses, aquariums, terrariums, and greenhouse panels.
