Nickel 825 is an austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy defined by additions of molybdenum, copper, and titanium. Developed to provide exceptional resistance to numerous oxidizing and reducing corrosive environments, Alloy 825 exhibits pronounced resistance to stress corrosion cracking induced by chlorides and alkalis. Nickel 825 is also utilized as an effective material in a wide variety of process environments, maintaining good mechanical properties from cryogenic temperatures to 1000 °F.
