Overview
With a mixture of good strength, hardness, formability, and corrosion resistance, 272 brass is mostly used in tubing. This material is rated as excellent for cold working, but poor for hot working. Typically used as fasteners, heat exchangers, pump cylinders, and tubing for other industrial projects.
