Stainless Steel 15-5 Product Guide
Applications | Specifications | Mechanical and Chemical Data | Tolerances
Overview
15-5 stainless steel is a martensitic, precipitation hardening steel designed for higher strength than 17-4 stainless. The higher strength comes at the cost of lower corrosion resistance at higher temperatures. Typically used in aerospace, petrochemical applications, pulp and paper machines, and food productions.
