Tygothane® is made of tough ester-based polyurethane. Tygothane's clarity, high tear strength, and excellent abrasion resistance makes it ideal for the a variety of applications. This material also known for its resistance to weathering, oils, greases, and can be safely used in temperatures ranging from -100 to 200°F. More importantly, Tygothane has tight dimensional tolerances and high elasticity which provides uses with an easy, worry free attachment to fittings. Tygothane is typically used in coolant recovery systems, tube oil skimmers, instrumentation control lines, and pneumatic sensory devices.
