SBR, or Styrene-Butadiene Rubber, is a general-purpose synthetic rubber copolymer composed of styrene and butadiene monomers. It is widely used in tire manufacturing due to its excellent abrasion resistance, good mechanical properties, and resistance to heat and aging. SBR is also employed in various other applications such as automotive parts, footwear, gaskets, hoses, and adhesives where its flexibility, resilience, and weathering resistance are advantageous.
