Nickel Pipe Alloy 20 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy containing 32% nickel, 20% chromium, and 33.5% iron, along with smaller amounts of copper and molybdenum. It offers excellent resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments, including oxidizing media, acids like sulfuric and hydrochloric, alkaline solutions, and chloride-ion solutions. Alloy 20 is commonly used for pipes, vessels, and equipment in industries dealing with aggressive chemical media, such as chemical processing plants, pulp and paper mills, pollution control systems, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
