Product Details, Specifications, and Technical Information
- A simple tough high carbon steel.
- 1075 is suitable for forging or stock removal.
- 1075 is especially suitable for hard use knives due to its toughness when properly heat treated.
This alloy is similar to 15N20 without 2% nickel.
This alloy been properly annealed and is in the soft condition. You do not have to do any non-standard wasteful processes before heat treating. The steel must be heat treated to get to a hardened state.
