Product Specification - 6" x 48" ALUMINUM OXIDE SANDING BELT Benchmark Abrasives 6" x 48” Aluminum Oxide Sanding Belts are MADE IN USA. Each belt is made with a durable polycotton blend backing for durability and bi-directional tape joints that allow our belts to be run in either direction. We suggest only dry sanding applications with the A/O belts (Zirconia & Ceramic belts can be used wet/dry). Our belts are made with the premium aluminum oxide grains and adhered to cloth backing that meets strict European standards, providing both long life and precision cuts. These belts are designed for use on ferrous metals, composite materials, wood, plastics, and other metals. It features good abrasion resistance, anti-static and anti-clogging. Aluminum Oxide (A/O) is the most commonly used grain at an economical price point. If you are looking for more aggressive stock removal or a premium option, check out our Zirconia and Ceramic options.
